Well Considering that 75% of my friends are European, I decided to take on the first post of this group.

I have made many friends with people from everywhere.
I have tons of friends from Germany - from all parts but mainly Bavaria -where the drinking is plenty and Oktoberfest the place to be. I have visited them many times and vice versa and we both see differences in the societies - but mind you I am also not pure American but Asian American (Indian American) so I have an outside societal view of the society if that makes sense.

Anyhow - a typical European - depends on the country they are from. But here are somethings I have noticed of their interests.

Dutch Guys: Drink, Drink, Drink. Party, Party, Party. Soccer, Soccer, Soccer. Anymore? I have two good friends from the Netherlands who always come party with me when I visit Amsterdam. But it's all about the party.

HeinekenHeineken

Brits: Footie. Drink. Footie. Drink.

Cristiano Ronaldo of Manchester UnitedCristiano Ronaldo of Manchester United

Germans and Eastern Europeans: German Beer, Soccer, Clubbing. Soccer. Ballack. German Beer.

ClubbingClubbing

Italians (Men): Futbol. Campioni Del Mondo. Food and Wine. Futbol. Women.

I could go on... but I am sure you see the pattern. Eye-wink These are just some random generalizatins (not meant to stereotype) but commonalities I have seen within MY GROUP of friends. Not all Europeans are the same. I dated an Italian who was quite the Lady's Man and yet he was also the typical Californian Surfer - (with the bod to go with Eye-wink and All me English friends don't drink... but most of them do.. same with Germans.. and the rest.

But I must say I find myself appreciating these aspects. The soccer-futbol whichever you prefer, I LOVE. The amazing and wicked hot futbolers of Europe are like no other! The club scene and the fact that there isn't a drinking age all make the European society more amiable to others. I personally find the environment and life fantastic. I have visited many a time and will do so more in the future.

I personally like a mix of culture and I believe that is how I am. With my own style and tastes and my own behaviours in various situations - I cannot be generalized because I am a mix of all of the above - done it all and seen it all!

Cheers!
